ABOUT THE PROJECT

Transformation does not happen alone.

LSS is a non-profit institution that empowers people to live their best lives, giving them the resources they need to get on the path to recovery from addiction or mental illness. LSS came to me to restructure their website content and evaluate how their website could be redesigned to be more useful and easier to use. I conducted a workshop with several executive team members across different departments to get a good understanding of the opportunities and pain points. From here, I began to work on the website architecture and redesign.

01

Information Architecture

During our workshop, several pieces of content were discovered to be out of date, unorganized, and misplaced. Our workshop exercises allowed me to uncover the pain points and make recommendations towards organization, placement, and usability.

02

Wireframes

This site was to be built on Wordpress and the client wanted full control over the pages and adding content once the templates were created. I kept this in mind while wireframing so there could be several components to choose from while building out new pages and clear templates to use when formatting content.

03

Visual Design and Branding

LSS wanted to keep their original logo and use original brand colors, but in a refreshed design. The logo stamp became an important design element, while focusing on how colors could be used to delineate flexible components.
