ABOUT THE PROJECT
Growing a startup.
BoothCentral is a startup that began as a custom online platform for event and trade show organizers. The platform allows for event management and the ability to host live virtual events. Like many tech companies in the last few years, a major shift happened in product development in order to accommodate the changes in the world. I was handed a simple platform, and together with a small group of developers, we turned it into a intuitive and powerful interface.

Information Architecture
This architecture needed to address several user pathways according to permissions and audience. There needed to be public views for new users and investors, while also supporting logged in and logged out views for both promoters and vendors. Not only did the architecture need to support the above scenarios, but also several pathways according to the type of event you were managing or attending.

User Flows
The below example shows two complex user flows visualizing the unique paths taken by a promoter in order to claim an event, and the multiple actions required for the promoter to create an event.

Wireframes
Represented here is a fraction of the wireframes I created for the event management system and the virtual event interface. There were multiple iterations for each screen to accomodate for the complex use cases of the promoter managing an event. I also had to think through multiple types of events to create the virtual event wireframes.

Design System
For the promoter event management platform, I needed to create several UI elements to make it seamless for developers to create new pages. Not only did I need UI components, but also theming rules that applied to virtual event creation and management.

User Interface Design
I designed several screens for desktop, tablet, and mobile to coincide with the promoter management experience and virtual event experience. First up below showcases a few screens from the promoter management desktop experience.
